3. Storytelling
Stargazers episode 9 moves the story along in a significant way. The tension between childhood friends Syrrik and Leon comes to a boiling point without fully boiling over. We know Leon is interested in getting to know Syrrik better. However, through subtle cues, we are beginning to see that Syrrik wants that for himself as well.
By portraying Syrrik as a likeable, yet confused teenager, the author, Jarrett Melendez, gave the readers yet another compelling protagonist. And you cannot help but root for Syrrik, who is undoubtedly controlled by his rigid father, Jato. It will be quite exciting to see where this story goes next.
