Strange New Worlds contains all the elements to replicate the legendary Mirror Spock from The Original Series, which demonstrated how a Vulcan could endure and even flourish in the face of Terran aggression.
Here, a Mirror Spock may take advantage of his emotional instability and use reason as a scalpel to defend assassinations, coups, and calculated betrayals on the ISS Enterprise.
The tension would stem from how much he resembles the Spock we are familiar with, still composed and analytical, but with every choice focused more on his own survival than the Federation's principles.
