3. Mirror La’an Noonien‑Singh
La’an’s entire arc is about resisting the worst expectations of her name, carrying the legacy of Khan while trying to live a life defined by choice instead of genetic destiny. A Mirror La’an flips that struggle on its head and asks the question the show can’t tackle in the Prime universe: what if she stopped fighting it?
In the Terran Empire, La’an’s augment heritage wouldn’t be a stigma, it would be a resume, proof that she deserves command and the right to rule over “lesser” humans.
A Mirror episode could let Christina Chong explore a La’an who embraces superiority, only to be rattled by meeting the Prime La’an who has done the impossible and built real, vulnerable connections with her crew despite the scars.
