Boldly go and see the new season premiere, plus meet four members of the Enterprise’s crew.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds returns in just over a month, but fans of the beloved science fiction franchise will have the opportunity to see the season 4 premiere early — seating is limited, though. And after the show, those in attendance get to enjoy a conversation with co-showrunner Akiva Goldsman and four actors, who portray some of the USS Enterprise’s beloved crew.
Captain Christopher Pike himself, Anson Mount, will be in attendance, as will Celia Rose Gooding (Nyota Uhura), Melissa Navia (Lt. Erica Ortegas), and everyone’s favorite engineer, Commander Pelia, portrayed by the incomparable Carol Kane. 92NY made the announcement on its official Instagram account, and fans can read an excerpt about the upcoming event below:
“Following the screening, hear Goldsman, Mount, Gooding, Navia, and Kane in a conversation about the new season — an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the hit series for its biggest fans. Join them as they share insights into their creative collaboration, the evolution of their iconic characters, and what lies ahead for the Enterprise — an evening of exploration, storytelling, and more... let’s boldly go!”
The special Strange New Worlds screening and conversation will be held at Buttenwieser Hall at The Arnhold Center in New York City on Tuesday, July 21, just two days before season 4 premieres on Paramount+. Admission starts at $50 a person and goes up from there depending on where you are sitting, and the event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ET.
Please note that an “in-person event fee” will be charged at checkout online, so the total price is actually $61 per person for the more affordable seats. At the time of this writing (Thursday, June 18) there are just over 90 seats still available at the intimate venue ranging in price from $50 to $60, minus the aforementioned fee.
