Star Trek actor wraps filming Strange New Worlds season 5

"That’s a wrap on the chap…"

Another actor has officially wrapped filming on the final season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Following on the heels of fellow castmates Christina Chong, Martin Quinn, and Celia Rose Gooding, actress Jess Bush has concluded her tenure portraying the USS Enterprise’s nurse, Christine Chapel. Bush posted a photo of herself on the set of SNW with the following message yesterday (Tuesday, Dec. 16) via her Instagram account. Bush wrote:

"This feeling is very big. I could not be more thankful for the five years I got to spend growing with this group of people. That’s a wrap on the chap ❤️🖖🏼"

Bush came aboard the Star Trek prequel series right from the very beginning back in 2022, and she had unprecedented shoes to try and fill in the shadow of Trekkies' beloved Majel Barrett. Barrett was the first to portray Christine Chapel ( Star Trek: The Original Series ) but Barrett was relegated to an often overshadowed recurring role. However, that was not the case for Bush.
