Paramount Plus serves as the go-to website for all Star Trek movies and series with the exception of the must-see Prodigy. However, if you don’t subscribe to the service, and don’t want to pony up the dough, Trekkies can now boldly go where no one has gone before absolutely free on Pluto TV.

In the past, the free streaming service has offered a single season of Star Trek episodes from certain classic series from time to time. However, with the addition of their content-specific channels devoted to the Trek universe, fans can now watch EVERY single episode of Star Trek: The Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and Enterprise for free on Pluto TV.

I’ve noticed a lot of so-called fans on the Redshirts Always Die Facebook page complaining about the new series, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, and how they’d prefer to watch the classic shows instead. Well, here’s their chance — and for free.

Plus, those true Trekkies who haven’t revisited the classics in a while can now watch Khan Noonien Singh (Ricardo Montalban) try to take over the USS Enterprise and then zip over to TNG’s episode selection menu and watch EVERY one of the Enterprise-D’s memorable encounters with Q (John de Lancie) without spending a single dime.

If you’re new to the fandom, I recommend starting at the beginning and watching the classic sci-fi shows in order of release: The Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and then Enterprise. However, if you’re uninitiated to the Star Trek universe, here are some of my personal favorites from each series which are sure to make you want to keep on Trekking along:

“The City on the Edge of Forever” (season 1 TOS )

“Yesterday’s Enterprise” (season 3 TNG )

“Trials and Tribble-ations” (season 5 DS9 )

“Blink of an Eye” (season 6 Voyager )

“In a Mirror Darkly, Part I and II” (season 4 Enterprise )

I hope you enjoy the recommendations, and they are the perfect way to break into the beloved sci-fi universe just in time for the franchise's 60th anniversary. And for more Star Trek content, please visit the Redshirts Always Die Facebook and X pages.

Live long and prosper, Trekkies!
