Tyler Perry's lawyer responds to the allegations
In a statement to Variety, Tyler Perry’s attorney, Alex Spiro, called out Mario Rodriguez’s own lawyer, Jonathan Delshad, for trying to cash in on another “money grab” opportunity. Spiro wrote as follows: “Having recently failed in another matter against Mr. Perry, the very same lawyer has now made yet another demand from more than a decade ago which will also be a failed money grab.”
Spiro is referring to another lawsuit brought earlier this year against Perry by actor Derek Dixon of The Oval political drama series for alleged sexual assault and harassment. The punitive damages in that case come in at a jaw-dropping $260 million! It should be noted that Delshad represents both Rodriguez and Dixon. (Continued…)
