Happy birthday to Star Trek’s beloved James T. Kirk: William Shatner! The iconic actor turns 95 years old today (March 22), and to celebrate this milestone, Trekkies can watch every feature film for absolutely free on Pluto TV, as well as Captain Kirk and the USS Enterprise’s adventures in The Original Series.

Additionally, Pluto TV is featuring a special TOS marathon on March 22, according to TrekMovie.com. The day-long television event can be seen on the site's Star Trek channel. Meanwhile, the six films featuring the entire crew of the Enterprise under Kirk's command (The Motion Picture, The Wrath of Khan, The Search for Spock, The Voyage Home, The Final Frontier, The Undiscovered Country) will be shown on Pluto TV's The Motion Pictures Channel dedicated to Trek.

Pluto TV’s Funny AF channel will even stream the Comedy Central Roast of William Shatner from 2006 at 10 p.m. ET. I’d also like to point out that even the much-maligned Star Trek: Generations (1994) film featuring Captain Kirk’s (Shatner) team-up with Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) is currently available on demand.

In fact, all three seasons of The Original Series and all 13 feature films from the franchise are available on demand, courtesy of PlutoTV. Which episodes and/or movie installments to plan on watching to commemorate William Shatner’s 95th birthday?

My personal favorites from TOS are “The City on the Edge of Forever” and “Mirror, Mirror.” And I’ll have to squeeze in the Genesis trilogy, too: The Wrath of Khan, The Search for Spock, and The Voyage Home. Share your selections and comments with us on the Redshirts Always Die Facebook and X pages.

Live long and prosper, Trekkies!
