Meet James T. Kirk and enjoy one of the franchise's best movies.

For those travelers who can’t wait until September to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Star Trek in Las Vegas, James T. Kirk himself, William Shatner, will be in attendance at special screenings of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) this April. Not only will fans get to watch the best film from the franchise's vast library, but they can meet the legendary captain of the USS Enterprise, too.

Shatner will appear on stage following The Wrath Khan screenings to speak and take questions from the audience. The first event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, at the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts in Greensboro, North Carolina at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Admission ranges from $57.95 to $220.80 a seat, depending on where you’d like to sit. And, at the time of this writing, there are plenty of openings still available in every section, including Orchestra, Grand Tier, and Loge sections.

Star Trek fans will have the opportunity to share a photo-op with Shatner and even get his autograph for an additional fee. Standard VIP tickets entitle attendees to have their photographs taken with the iconic actor. However, Premium VIP ticketholders will also receive a signed poster by the Captain Kirk actor.

If fans can’t make the screening in North Carolina, they will have four more opportunities to watch The Wrath of Khan and meet Shatner throughout the month of April. The other tour dates and times are scheduled as follows:

April 16: Berglund Center (Roanoke, Virginia) 7:30 p.m.

April 17: Ovens Auditorium (Charlotte, North Carolina) 7:30 p.m.

April 18: Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium (Chattanooga, Tennessee) 7 p.m.

April 19: Tennessee Theatre (Knoxville, Tennessee) 7 p.m.

Meeting Shatner and seeing Wrath of Khan sounds like a fun night out, especially for those dying to have their photograph taken with the Star Trek icon. Personally, the photo-op/autograph price is always a little too high for my taste, but I’d still enjoy the opportunity to mingle with fellow Trekkies, enjoy the movie, and listen to Shatner speak — even though I’m not going to cough up the VIP premium.

Live long and prosper, Trekkies!
