Shatner didn't watch the spot until the Super Bowl

William Shatner did his part helping promote Kellogg’s Super Bowl LX ad leading up to the big game. Heck, he was even photographed in Los Angeles traffic while eating a delicious bowl of Raisin Bran, so I’d say he did his fair share promoting the commercial ahead of time.

However, one thing the Star Trek icon didn’t do ahead of time was watch the Super Bowl spot. Rather, he waited until the big game to witness it with family and friends. Check out a photo (below) that Shatner posted via his Instagram account, which gives fans a glimpse of the SBLX celebration at the actor's home. Shatner said in the same interview with EW:

"I haven't seen it. I generally avoid watching myself. And I thought it'd be fun cause I'm having a Super Bowl party. And I've overloaded my room, which seats about 20 people, and I got a large screen and we're gonna watch the Super Bowl. And there's a lot of food and it's gonna be joyful with friends. And then this commercial, presumably, will come on."

Live long and prosper, Trekkies!
