8. Strange New Worlds

In many respects, the uniforms in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022-present) are an extrapolation of those seen in the original Star Trek. They were designed by Bernadette Croft, and I really like the way the necks for the shirt-style uniforms de-emphasize the black undershirt, perhaps as a callback to the uniform styles used in the pilot episodes of TOS. The metal insignia are also a nice touch.
A major plus for these uniforms is that they are colorful. Although I wouldn't mind if all of the science blues were lighter (more like Dr. M'Benga's uniform), the primary-color uniforms are a staple of Star Trek, and their presence is always appreciated. (It would be nice if the rank braids were easier to see on the blue and red uniforms, though.)
Overall, SNW has a good set of uniforms that callback to TOS. As cool as it might be to replicate the exact style of materials and cut of the TOS uniforms, this is a good way to pay homage while looking up-to-date for the 2020s. That said, my only major complaint is that the division texture patterns on the sleeves diminish the clean, futuristic look, and also make it harder for cosplayers to replicate.
