NO NETWORK SCHEDULING

Voyager and Enterprise had a multitude of problems, but network scheduling also played a big role in their poor performance. I remember being a kid and getting excited to watch Voyager only to find out that the air time had been changed. Voyager was bounced around from Monday’s to Wednesday nights and Enterprise faired even worse than that by getting moved from Wednesday to the dreaded Friday night time slot. The networks shuffled the shows around to try to find an audience, but in the end only made the ratings problems worse.

Now we will get a new Star Trek on our terms, we can watch it whenever we want to watch it.  Most of the shows I watch I get through streaming or by recording on the DVR. The days of appointment TV are dead anyway, so why not do away with that system for Star Trek?
