The Picard vs Kirk argument as been going among Star Trek fans since Star Trek: The Next Generation first aired. There’s no doubt that both are great captains, each with their own style, but which one do you think is the greatest Star Trek captian of them all?

And we hate to be like this, but we’re still missing someone. What about Sisko? He is the only Star Trek Captain to ever punch Q in the face after all.

OF course there will also be those who say that Janeway or Archer is the greatest Star Trek captain. They are of course wrong, but they have the right to say that. What’s really fantastic about the Star Trek captains is that they don’t follow an archetype they are individuals, each leading with their own style.

So it doesn’t matter if you’re favorite captain is Kirk, Picard, Sisko, Janeway, or Archer, because you can still appreicate all of them for what they are. There’s a Star Trek captain for all of us after all.
