Picard has his own maneuver, Kirk doesn’t

There are many things about James Tiberius Kirk that just scream Kirkisms. But they aren’t a maneuver that comes time and time again. They are just simple movements that happen and no one pays them any mind. With Picard, he is completely different.

Why? Because he has something known as the Picard Maneuver. It is when Jean-Luc adjusts his shirt by pulling it down slightly in the front. Why he does this, we may never know, but he does and it makes him just that little bit more cooler.

James Kirk can have all the ripped shirts he pleases, he is no Picard. All he has to do is shift his shirt slightly and we are all goners. It isn’t even a move that many would classify as ‘sexy’ but there is just something about Picard that makes everyone swoon.

He is a man of his own volition and that includes slightly shifting his shirt and watching all of us fall in love with him over and over again. His maneuver is simple yet very much what we have come to expect from Jean-Luc Picard. Elegant, simple, and oh so very intriguing. And with that maneuver, he bests Kirk once again.
