Chris Hemsworth Says He Will Return As George Kirk
Chris Hemsworth says Star Trek 4, is going to happen and he will be reprising his role as George Kirk.
According to Den of Geek Marvel star Chris Hemsworth will be back in Star Trek 4 as George Kirk. Some my be surprised that another Kelvin Star Trek is coming after the smaller box office grab of Star Trek Beyond, but you have to remember that compared to the rest of the films Paramount released this year Beyond was a huge hit.
We’re excited to see more of George Kirk. Here’s what Hemsworth told Den of Geek:
"“I’ve spoken to J.J. [Abrams], and he has an amazing pitch on the whole thing.”"
Now how George Kirk and James T. Kirk end up in the same movie again is a mystery, but we have a theory.
DON’T READ ANYMORE IF YOU DON’T WANT TO SEE POSSIBLE STAR TREK 4 SPOILERS. THEY ARE JUST THEORIES, BUT WHO KNOWS WE COULD BE RIGHT!
We know that Star Trek 4 might be the end of the Kelvin movie series, so perhaps this movie will tie up the timeline. What if there was a villain behind it all, the destruction of Romulus, Spock going back in time, the whole thing. Perhaps all this has been that villain trying to change history, reroute the course of the Enterprise or the Federation as a whole before they get to them. It’s got a very temporal cold war feel to it doesn’t it? Now what enemy of the Federation loves time travel? Kelvin timeline Borg would be a cool thing to see.
No matter the plot seeing Jim and George Kirk battling to save the galaxy together is going to be great.
