Are you excited about What We Left Behind? As huge Star Trek: Deep Space Nine fans we can’t wait to hear from some of our favorite Trek stars. The crowdfunding campaign for the new DS9 documentary is drawing to a close and the final push for donations is on. With that in mind the What We Left Behind team has released a sneak peak at some interview footage from the documentary.

In this sneak clip we get to hear from Terry Farrell on what it was like to be a 27 year old who is asked to play an over 300 year old Trill. Check it out.

What’s really exciting about this interview is how candid Terry Farrell is able to be about the show and where she was at when it began. Enough time has passed since Star Trek: Deep Space Nine was on the air that the perspectives of the actors and crew are going to be very different than they were in any behind the scenes features or interviews they did before.

There are of course plenty of interviews and behind the scenes moments from conventions and Deep Space Nine’s heyday, but when it’s twenty years on and you’re looking back on something like DS9 the perspectives change.

Hearing from Terry Farrell, Armin Shimerman, Rene Auberjonois, Jeffrey Combs, and more on their time on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine is going to be treat and we can’t wait to see What We Left Behind.
