New trailer and images for Star Trek: Discovery S2E7 “Light and Shadows”

CBS has released six new images from “Light and Shadows” the upcoming seventh episode of the second season of Star Trek: Discovery.
When it comes to the second season of Star Trek: Discovery, it would appear the old adage “So far, so good.” would be the best description.
The mystery of the Red Angel continues to deepen, several characters have been given a chance to shine while others have made a comeback and Anson Mount’s Captain Pike has become the breakout star of the season. However, it goes without saying that the episode premiering this coming Thursday is the one Trek Nation has been waiting for with baited breath.

“Light and Shadows” is the seventh episode of Discovery Season 2 and as well as marking the halfway point of the season it also features the debut of Ethan Peck as the one and only Spock. It shows Michael Burnham’s (Sonequa Martin-Green) return to Vulcan and in addition to Spock includes the return of both James Frain as Sarek and Mia Kirshner as Amanda.
Add in another appearance by Michelle Yeoh as Georgiou and some more clues about what exactly is going on with the Red Angel and you have another fun for the whole family episode of Star Trek: Discovery.
In anticipation of the debut of Spock in “Light and Shadows” CBS has released six new images from the episode. They showcase numerous member of the cast as well as the return of Sarek and Amanda.

In addition to the images, CBS has released a new trailer on Star Trek.com as well as releasing it on the Instagram account of Netflix.
It’s safe to say that the second season of Discovery is about to kick it up to Warp 11.
Season 2 of Star Trek: Discovery continues on Thursday February 28 at 8:30 on CBS All Access in the United States.
