Star Trek: The Cruise V sets sail on February 26, 2022-March 5, 2022

Smithsonian Channel will celebrate the 50th anniversary of Star Trek with a two-hour special that will take a look at the lasting influence the original Star Trek series has had on the world. BUILDING STAR TREK will premiere Sunday, September 4 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Smithsonian Channel.BUILDING STAR TREK will follow the conservation team from the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum as they attempt to restore and conserve the original 11-foot, 250-pound model of the U.S.S. All actors previously scheduled for Star Trek: The Cruise V will be aboard

Rescheduled due to the pandemic, Star Trek: The Cruise V will now depart from Port Canaveral, FL for Nassau, Bahamas; San Juan, Puerto Rico and St. Maarten beginning February 26, 2022. Open bookings for this cruise will begin on July 28th at www.startrekthecruise.com.

Along with Star Trek-themed shows, events, activities, and parties that will take place every day and night, attendees can look forward to interacting with some of their favorite Star Trek actors!  Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, Gates McFadden, Terry Farrell, Alexander Siddig, Robert Picardo, George Takei, and Walter Koening are just a few of the beloved actors who will be aboard Royal Caribbean’s luxurious Mariner of the Seas, a recently renovated ship that will be transformed into a Star Trek Universe at sea.

Greg Laubach, Executive Director, Business Development at Entertainment Cruise Productions, assured passengers that their health and safety is paramount.
