Star Trek icon Leonard Nimoy trended on Twitter Saturday night.
Leonard Nimoy is most known for his time playing Spock on the original Star Trek series and across the vast Star Trek franchise. Spock became an iconic character in part due to Nimoy’s portrayal of the character. Nimoy has become an icon to the fanbase old and new alike. So it wasn’t too surprising that he started trending on Twitter.
Though, unlike other people and characters, there was really no reason why he ended up trending on Twitter.
