These are four Star trek streaming stories to follow in 2022.
The world of Star Trek is growing in 2022. With a host of new merchandise being made, documentaries, books, comics, podcasts, and the like all being produced and shipped out for fans, it’s never been a busier time to be a Star Trek fan than right now.
Currently, Trek is working on two separate movies as we speak, on top of a new video game, constantly updating to their massive world video game in Star Trek Online, and the upcoming series being produced for ViacomCBS’ Paramount+.
That’s a lot of stuff and it only scratches the tip of the iceberg that is the expectation of 2022. We know what’s coming and that’s exciting but what’s even more exciting is what we don’t know is coming. What new shows and films, books and games, or other wonderful oddities will descend on us in 2022?
We don’t know but what we do know is that a whole host of new Star Trek episodes are debuting in 2022, from at least three different shows. That in itself is one reason to pay attention to the streaming news of 2022 but that’s not all, as the fate of several shows will likely be decided this year as well.
It’s not going to be a boring year for fans of Star Trek, that’s for sure, and while your favorite show may get canceled, or your least favorite show may get renewed, all we can say for sure is that nothing’s for sure.
