William Shatner is beaming down for Star Trek: Mission Chicago.

Star Trek: Mission Chicago is one of Star Trek’s biggest conventions of the year, and they’ll be back in full swing for 2022. They’re offering a huge lineup of guests and more names were just added to the docket this week. Including, but not limited to, William Shatner himself; aka James T. Kirk.

Shatner, the star of the original Star Trek series in the 1960s and one of three performers still active and traveling from the original show (the other two being George Takei and Walter Koenig), will make his appearance with Star Trek: Mission Chicago at some point over the three-day experience.

The event is being held at Chicago’s McCormick Place Convention Center, and fans can stop by at some point between April 8-April 10. The three-day event has several ticket packages available with single-day tickets, weekend-long tickets, and VIP tickets.

Tickets for the event cost $65 for single-day tickets or $35 for single-day kids tickets and $155 for the three-day pass. You can purchase them here.

The VIP tickets, called the Priority One Access VIP package, costs $750, and that comes with free gifts, autograph opportunities, meet and greets, and a whole bunch more. This is a huge year for the event, and they’re pulling out all the stops to try and impress fans.

William Shatner is not the only new name added to Star Trek: Mission Chicago

Shatner isn’t the only actor joining the crew for the April event, as his former co-star, Takei is going to be there as well. Enterprise’s Dominic Keating and Anthony Montogomery will be in attendance as well, so will Discovery’s Noah Averbac-Katz, Picard’s Isa Riones, Deep Space Nine’s Alexander Siddig, and Star Trek III’s Robin Curtis.

Names already announced for the event included Voyager captain Kate Mulgrew, Picard’s Michelle Hurd, The Next Generation’s Wil Wheaton, Discovery’s Anthony Rapp, and Doug Jones, and Deep Space Nine’s Nana Visitor
