Star Trek: Prodigy is following in the footsteps of others and getting its own video game.

If you were bored with Star Trek Online and had zero interest in Star Trek: Resurgence, the mobile games aren’t scratching the itch and those games on Gog just aren’t doing it for you, then you may want another option for your Star Trek-flavored gaming. Well, fear not true believer, as you can boldly go where no one has gone before with the upcoming Star Trek: Prodigy video game.

The game is called Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova and…well that’s it. That’s all we know about the game. The game had banners for it at Mission Chicago that revealed the game to fans, and that’s all we know about it other than it will release for Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, and presumably, PC.

The game will be revealed in late May on the Outright Games YouTube channel, where fans will get to know what kind of game this will end up being. Star Trek: Prodigy writer Lisa Boyd is being attached as the games’ writer.

Star Trek: Prodigy returning for more episodes soon

While there is no official date on the return of Star Trek: Prodigy’s first season, rest assured it is coming back. Likely after Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is done airing sometime early in the summer, but fans could be waiting until the fall to see the crew return.

Still, it is coming back to run out its 20 episode first season.

Then, they’ll be working on their second season, likely for another 20 episodes that will also be split up across the year, as they did with season one.
