Raffi and Seven of Nine return in Star Trek: Picard season three.

Star Trek: Picard season two just came to a close, but we’re already looking forward to the third season even though it means the end. And potentially the last time we’ll see Admiral Jean-Luc Picard. But before that can happen, there will be plenty of episodes that not only involve the Star Trek: The Next Generation cast but fan favorites Michelle Hurd who portrays Raffi and Jeri Ryan, who plays Seven of Nine.

There has been some concern that the remaining cast members (so far only Hurd and Ryan will appear alongside Patrick Stewart) of Picard won’t get their fair share of screen time because of the returning characters from The Next Generation. Michelle Hurd cleared that up when she and Jeri Ryan participated in a recent Twitter Spaces chat [via Trekmovie].

Raffi and Seven of Nine get to explore emotional and exciting stories.

This doesn’t sound like either one of the characters will be going anywhere during the season. Let’s hope that remains the case as we’ve already dealt with the threat of losing Seven of Nine when she was attacked by the Borg Queen/Jurati.

Not only did Hurd encourage viewers with what they have to look forward to with her and Ryan’s characters, she built anticipation of what’s to come in the future season with her description of what we can expect.

"“I think it’s just going to give you guys a lot–it’s not even like easter eggs. We’re just gonna be putting some stuff straight out. It’s in your face. I think you guys will be as giddy as we were shooting it.”"

It’s hard to read something like that and not get excited. Along with the return of The Next Generation cast, which already has fans anxiously awaiting season three, it sounds like Star Trek: Picard has a stellar final season planned with the remaining cast members.
