Star Trek: Prodigy is bringing in more versions of Kathryn Janeway

Star Trek: Prodigy is bringing in even more versions of Kathryn Janeway.
Are we about to get a Kathryn Janeway multiverse? Maybe, if Kate Mulgrew is to be believed. Star Trek: Prodigy has already brought fans two different versions of Kathryn Janeway, the first is one of the main characters of the show, the Emergency Command Hologram, which is designed after the Voyager-era version of the character.
The second is Vice-Admiral Janeway, the actual living and breathing version of the Voyager Era Janeway, just five years older, though she looks like she’s aged more than five years. Which could mean that the series actually is further in the future than first thought and it may be returning to a different point in time.
Regardless, according to Mulgrew, the two Janeways aren’t the only ones in the series.
Mulgrew spoke at the New York Comic Con (via TrekMovie.com) and revealed that more iterations of Janeway than we’ve seen. When asked if there was a moment she had gratifications for having acted out, Mulgrew explained;
"Well, that’s a spoiler if I just say it. Let me just suggest this: there are several iterations of Janeway. And some of them are shocking, and dark, and unexpected. And then the journey takes a harrowing turn. And that was really fun."
What could Kate Mulgrew be alluding to about different Kathryn Janeways?
It should be noted that unless Mulgrew is lumping the ECH hologram into her statement, they are in fact different characters. One is actually Janeway, the other is a computer program that bares her likeness.
If we take Mulgrew at face value then it’s very likely that possible other real Janeways may be popping up, maybe from a different time or perhaps from a different universe. It does seem like whatever version shows up, this Janeway may not be as kind and empathetic as the real one is.
