Star Trek got an early look at the Lower Decks and Strange New Worlds crossover.

Star Trek is getting fans hyped for the next few seasons of shows, as Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks are not only getting new seasons this year but are going to be joining forces for an epic crossover. The characters of Beckett Mariner and Brad Boimler form Lower Decks will be making their live-action debut.

Joining them will be their voices actors Tawny Newsome and Jack Quad, who will likewise make their live-action debut in the Star Trek franchise. The crossover is being directed by Jonathan Frakes and is absolutely the most anticipated episode of the upcoming season for most fans.

Fans were able to get a sneak peak of the upcoming crossover when an unexpected posting to several media outlets showed a brand new Star Trek: Strange New Worlds teaser for the upcoming second season.

As you can see in the above still, the characters look spot-on in live-action to their animated counterparts. Their uniforms look even better in live-action as well, and they contrast the old Starfleet uniforms seen in Strange New Worlds perfectly.

The only problem is, that doesn’t appear to be what was intended to happen.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks preview quickly pulled

All of the videos that showed the image of the Lower Decks crew apart of the Strange New Worlds set have seemingly been taken down or set to private. This seems to suggest that someone got something wrong and gave the go-ahead to post the new trailer for the second season without making sure they should have.

You can probably find the trailer now through some third-party channel, but all of the actual affiliates have sense, at least seemingly, scrubbed the trailer from the internet for now.
