Star Trek: Legacy is a proposed spinoff of Star Trek: Picard.

Star Trek: Picard produced one of the most popular seasons of modern Trek in some time. It was so popular that many were hoping to see a spinoff, an idea that Terry Matalas, Picard’s showrunner had come up with. His idea would see Jack Crusher as part of a new crew, calving around space with a host of other second-generational talent.

Those would include the daughters of Geordi La Forge, possibly the son of Worf, the daughter of William Riker and Deanna Troi, and maybe others. The show would focus on Jack, however, and may even include Q, as sawa t the end of Picard.

But the spinoff series with a new-ish character deserves its own spinoff villain, who is rife with rage and fury against the parents of the crew members. And this is who we think could work.

Here are the three villains we think make sense for the Star Trek: Picard spinoff, Star Trek: Legacy.

Q’s son

We actually already met Q’s son in Star Trek: Voyager, as he raised some hell. Yet, it’d be interesting to see how Q Jr and Jack would interact, knowing their fathers’ unique relationship.

Sela’s daughter

Sela is the daughter of former Enterprise officer Tasha Yar. Sela, a half-Romulan, half-Human member of the Tal Shiar, has her own issues with the Federation but a daughter of Sela could not only have her own issues with the Federation, namely never rescuing her grandmother but she could also both fall for and hate Jack Crusher for being the big, new, hot-shot Federation officer out there.

The Duras Sister’s children

Why not have a good dozen new Klingons looking for vengeance for their mothers? The Duras Children could be their own crew, a rogue Klingon sect, looking to kill Picard and his family the way their mothers were killed during the events of Generations.
