Bones does Bones

Whoever decided to ramp up the Bones-isms for Into Darkness deserves a raise. Karl Urban’s run as Dr. Leonard McCoy is as good as the original portrayal by Deforest Kelley. Urban went full camp for the sequel and made it among his best roles ever. He not only had the best chemistry with anyone at any time but the lines he had made him the envy of the cast, I’m sure.

From yelling at Spock for agreeing with him, to the classic line “Damn it, man, I’m a doctor, not a…”, it all hit so brilliantly. Plus, it paid off in droves when James Kirk finally had enough, like a good 30 minutes in.

Here are just a few of our favorite Bones-isms

"Jim, you just sat that man down at a high-stakes poker game with no cards and told him to bluff. Now, Sulu’s a good man, but he’s no captain. Damn it, man, I’m a doctor, not a torpedo technician! Mr. Sulu, remind me never to piss you off. You don’t rob a bank when your getaway car has a flat tire. You know, when I dreamed about being stuck on a deserted planet with a gorgeous woman, there was no torpedo!"
