Star Trek film series
Though Admiral Janeway dealt the Borg Queen a devastating blow at the end of Star Trek: Voyager, we never doubted that she would return. A different one showed up in the second season of Star Trek: Picard and ended up forming an alliance with the Federation. Then the queen from Voyager returned in Picard’s final season and got blown up at the end. But we know there are other queens in the hive. And what could potentially be a great movie for the Star Trek film series is for the queens to rally now that they’ve been bested so many times. /

The Borg has always been one of the Federations most brutal enemies, and it’s folly to think they will ever truly be gone. But the Federation could be a little complacent after the ending of Picard and certainly not be expecting to face not one Borg Queen but several, all working together toward a common goal—the complete annihilation of the Federation, instead of the assimilation of the planets. This could open the doors for several former cast members to return as Starfleet would need all of its resources to fight this battle. Anyone and everyone that has encountered the Borg and survived could be utilized.
