Yes, you read that right, you can now own an official William Shatner-worn, Star Trek hairpiece.

William Shatner’s hair has been an odd subject of conversation since his days on the original Star Trek in the 1960s. Many people have claimed that Shatner wore a wig during the show, to help cover up his thinning hair. It’s a statement that Shatner has denied on a number of occasions. Yet, if that was the case, why can you now buy one of his old hairpieces?

It’s one of the worst-kept secrets in the history of the industry, that Shatner wore a hairpiece during his time on Star Trek, and now you can own a piece of that history. For just the low-low bid of $2,801, you can own a piece of Trek history. The hairpiece is being sold as part of Heritage Auctions and is among the most interesting and unique pieces of Trek memorabilia you can own.

But that’s not all they’re auctioning off.

Some of the most iconic Star Trek props can be had for a price

Shatner’s hairpiece isn’t the only thing you can get through the auction house. Currently, at $12k, you can own a genuine Nurse Chapel nurse outfit, that was in fact once worn by Majel Barrett. DeForest Kelley’s medical outfit is also up for auction, with the price currently at $20k.

If you can stomach the decay and look at them, you could also have Leonard Nimoy’s old Spock ears, which are currently at $3,600. The ears aren’t in great shape, which is to be expected after 60 years, and they look funky but they can be yours.

There’s so much more, with various outfits, scripts, props, and even some ships that are all up for auction over at the Heritage Auctions website. So if you have some cash you don’t want, go ahead and place a bid.
