Some fans want a limited series of Seven of Nine during her post-Voyager days

Seven of Nine, portrayed by Jeri Ryan, is in the captain's chair of the new Enterprise, but that won't make a difference if Star Trek: Legacy isn't picked up for production. Essentially, we would be saying goodbye, for the most part, to Ryan's character as there isn't currently another place for her. But some fans have come up with another idea for Seven of Nine. They want to see her acclimating to life after Voyager. And this actually isn't a bad idea.

We know that after Voyager Seven of Nine tried to get into Starfleet, but even with the recommendation of Captain Janeway, she was rejected. After that, Seven turned to a different life; she joined the Fenris Rangers. Though considered vigilantes, Seven defended her choice by saying that she was helping people who no one else would help.

A limited series or even a streaming movie could open up this area of exploration and give fans more of what they want—Seven of Nine. Seven was always an interesting character, but we didn't get to see the transformation of her from the stoic former Borg drone to the Seven that followed Admiral Picard [Patrick Stewart] into battle before rising through the ranks to become a captain in Starfleet.

This would also be an opportunity to bring back Icheb and give fans a chance to see them grow even closer than they were on Voyager. Adding in Hugh [Jonathan del Arco] would also give us more of his back story and how he went from the Enterprise to his position on the Borg Artifact Research Institute. All in all, a limited Seven of Nine series or a movie would fill in the gaps of Seven's life and show her growing more from a former drone to a the human she always wanted to be again.
