Strange new worlds is right.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 3, specifically the unwatchable holodeck episode "A Space Adventure Hour" comes in near the bottom spot on the Redshirts Always Die 2025 list.

True, Strange New Worlds didn’t dial it in like Section 31, but the beloved prequel series put its worst foot forward in season 3. Thankfully, SNW wasn’t a total disaster because it balanced ridiculous filler episodes like the aforementioned holodeck, mystery misstep “A Space Adventure Hour” with must-see streaming opportunities, including “The Sehlat Who Ate Its Tail.”

And, although, he wasn’t recognized for his moving performance at the end of “Hegemony, Part II,” Captain Christopher Pike actor Anson Mount deserved to be nominated for a Golden Globe. Thanks to moments like this, not to mention the return of Trelane and the universe’s beloved John de Lancie, Strange New Worlds season 3 isn’t nearly as bad of a fascinating moment as Section 31. Nevertheless, Trekkies should expect and do deserve more out of the upcoming seasons of the series.
