The Nacelle Company is making action figures of Gene Roddenberry and Lucille Ball for the first time. This will make two of the most important Star Trek pillars into collectibles.

The creator of the "wagon train to the stars," Gene Roddenberry, laid the groundwork for Star Trek's prosperous future and its now-vast multimedia universe. The show was kept going until NBC decided to give it a try, thanks to the personal support of well-known comedian Lucille Ball, who at the time was the head of Desilu Productions. She was among the most significant and early supporters of the franchise. Check out the official announcement via Nacelle's Instagram account below.

The mystery two-pack, which was shown off at the 2026 New York Toy Fair, is the last part of Nacelle's third wave of Star Trek action figures. James T. Kirk, Spock, Leonard McCoy, Nyota Uhura, and the rest of the Enterprise bridge crew were some of the classic characters from The Original Series that were in the first wave. A typewriter, a Star Trek script, and a blank Desilu Inc. check are some of the accessories that come with each figure set. These are all things that were really used to make Star Trek.

There have been a lot of plastic Starfleet officers and alien enemies, but this is the first time Roddenberry and Ball have been made into officially released collectible action figures. This lets fans pay tribute to the people who made the final frontier possible.

The set is the last thing in Nacelle's newest collection. It links the on-screen canon with the history that happened behind the scenes. This makes it a must-have for collectors who see Trek as both a fictional world and a groundbreaking TV show.
