1. Shuttlecraft Galileo
Hallmark's shuttlecraft Galileo ornament is a reissue that features the addition of dialogue from the The Original Series episode "The Galileo Seven," which makes it even more of a nostalgia piece!
I will be adding this ornament to my own collection when it goes on sale July 11, at $42.99 (gift box included). It's tied for the most expensive of these five ornaments, along with the Enterprise-G, but the new features mixed with the classic sounds we Trekkies remember make it well worth the price.
You might even remember this 1992 Hallmark ad featuring the iconic Leonard Nimoy, when he beamed into a Hallmark store to buy a few Galileo-7 holiday ornaments. I was 22 at the time, and I ran to the nearest Hallmark store to get one!
I still have it, but I'm happy about the reissue because today's holiday lights don't support its plug. The reissue runs on two alkaline LR44 batteries which are included.
