For whatever reason, perhaps it's because the audio drama was presented as a nine-episode podcast rather than a TV streaming series, the must-listen Star Trek: Khan podcast flew under the radar at impulse power for many Trekkies. However, if you ever wondered what happened to Khan Noonien Singh and his people during the time of their exile on Ceti Alpha V, this is the warp-speed worthy Trek fans have been dying to take.
The audio drama introduced plenty of new characters to serve the Khan story arc, but it included many familiar faces, too, from both The Original Series episode "Space Seed" (1967) and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982). Two key contributors, who did not make this list, are Khan's right-hand man Joaquin from "Space Seed" and his son, Joachim, from The Wrath of Khan.
Even George Takei's Captain Sulu and Tim Russ' Ensign Tuvok of the USS Excelsior played important roles in the audio drama, but there were three characters who stood head and shoulders above all the rest. Now, here is the Redshirts Always Die top three characters from the Khan podcast.
