Star Trek fans from around the globe are set to descend upon Las Vegas early next month for Creation Entertainment’s annual mega-convention. The event will take place from August 6-10 at the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino. It’s essentially one-stop shopping for Star Trek fans, as Creation gathers together talent from across the entire franchise, from The Original Series to Strange New Worlds, from the animated shows to the live-action features, including actors, writers, producers, directors, stunt people, makeup artists, and more.
In recent years, Creation has started to welcome talent from other popular sci-fi franchises, including Galaxy Quest, Battlestar Galactica, and more. The 2025 event will be no exception. And that doesn’t even begin to touch on all the other activities within the event, among them photo ops, autographs, panels, costume contests, live staged readings, auctions, karaoke, parties, etc.
Among the Star Trek guests: William Shatner, Kate Mulgrew, Jeri Ryan (and the entire Voyager cast, minus Jennifer Lien), Sonequa Martin-Green, Walter Koenig, Celia Rose Gooding, Brent Spiner, Rebecca Romijn, Anthony Montgomery, Gates McFadden, LeVar Burton, Roxann Dawson, Doug Jones, Noel Wells, Michael Dorn, Jess Bush, Ethan Peck, Terry Farrell, Wilson Cruz, Michelle Hurd, Jonathan Frakes, and many more. And those are just series regulars. A few dozen guest stars will be there, too.
The entire cast of Resident Alien will be on hand, while Billy Dee Williams, Giancarlo Esposito, and the Grogu puppet (along with its human handlers) are set to represent Star Wars. Barbara Bain and Nick Tate from Space: 1999 will beam down for the event, as will Flash Gordon stars Sam J. Jones and Melody Anderson. Battlestar Galactica will be in the house with Tricia Helfer, Mary McDonnell, and Edward James Olmos, while Wesley Eure, Kathy Coleman, and David Gerrold will do the honors for Land of the Lost. The team behind the Inglorious Treksperts podcast will stage a live reading of War of the Worlds as well as present many of the celebrity guests on their stage throughout the convention.
This breakdown is just the tip of the iceberg. Want to learn more about the event and what to expect?
