3. Spock compares Picard with James T. Kirk
When Picard locates Spock on Romulus, it's obvious he's irritated with the Vulcan ambassador for acting on his own regarding possible peace talks between Vulcan and Romulus, and Spock, in that respectful yet stonewalling tone, tells Picard to mind his own business (and that Starfleet would know when it needed to know).
When Spock tells Picard to leave Romulus, the Enterprise-D captain refuses and low-key insults Spock with an accusation of being led by his emotions. After giving the Vulcan version of "Okay, dad" (I miss Leonard Nimoy so much! Talk about often imitated but never duplicated!) Picard continues to hold his ground. Spock then says that Picard is as stubborn as another captain of the USS Enterprise he once knew: James T. Kirk. Picard acknowledges this legacy and takes it as a compliment. It's a moment that always makes me tear up!
