It was only a matter of time before the future captain of the USS Enterprise was joined in holy matrimony. Yes, Paul Wesley’s fiance Natalie Kuckenburg announced on social media today, Monday, July 13, that she and the beloved Star Trek actor have officially married.
Kuckenburg shared several photos on her Instagram account, which fans can view below, and their dog, Greg, is flanking them in the first image as the couple’s best man. Or, as I would like to think of the adorable pet: Wesley's first officer. The Star Trek actor also shared an image via his Instagram story published on Monday, July 13. Kuckenburg wrote: “Mr. and Mrs. 💍 and the Best Boy Greg 🐾”
Wesley and Kuckenburg were engaged last summer, and the latter shared a beautiful photograph of them holding hands to commemorate the occasion. Kuckenburg’s ring finger was adorned with a sumptuous and stunning oval diamond engagement ring, courtesy of an image she posted on her Instagram account (below) back on July 19, 2025.
I’m delighted for the couple, and utterly shocked at this popping up online today. After all, Wesley must certainly be in the throes of the Strange New Worlds season 4 press tour, right? Although, he wasn’t present for the Italian Global Series with fellow SNW castmates Anson Mount, Celia Rose Gooding, and Rebecca Romijn.
The trio of Mount, Gooding, and Romijn walked away with their own individual Maximo Celebration Prizes at the Italian celebration focusing on Star Trek's 60th anniversary. However, Wesley was busy getting the girl of his dreams. Congratulations to the happy couple and former Vampire Diaries co-stars.
