And those fans attending SDCC are in for another surprise in addition to giveaways.

The Star Trek Universe panel scheduled for San Diego Comic-Con 2026 will celebrate 60 years of incredible science fiction content, and it is without question the must-attend event for those who love creator Gene Roddenberry’s stellar universe. However, those spending that special five-day weekend at SDCC, also have the opportunity to take part in a special fan screening of Strange New Worlds season 4.

According to Variety, the Strange New Worlds fan screening will also include “surprise giveaways while supplies last.” Undoubtedly, there are some who will say: “I can stream the SNW season 4 premiere July 23, on Paramount+," which just happens to be the same before this particular San Diego Comic-Con event is planned. However, SDCC has another surprise in store for fans.

Not only will the Strange New Worlds season 4 premiere be screened, but episode 2 will also be shown a full week ahead of its streaming debut. Now, while the fan event is FREE, those who want to attend must reserve their seat ahead of time, which can be done by visiting this link provided by Paramount+ and CBS Studios. RSVP!

The Strange New Worlds season 4 fan screening is scheduled to take place Friday, July 24, at the famed Balboa Theatre, which is approximately a 15-minute walk north of the San Diego Convention Center. Doors open at 6 p.m. PT and SNW season 4 episode 1 begins an hour later at 7 p.m.

“Tickets are limited and will be distributed on a first come first serve basis,” a press release issued by both Paramount+ and CBS Studios reads. “No badge is required for entry.” At the time of this writing, I have no idea which story episode 2 of Strange New Worlds season 4 will tell.

However, I can reveal to Star Trek fans that the season 4 premiere of Strange New Worlds is, in fact, the dinosaur episode social media is T-Rex-style roaring about online, which I think looks quite intriguing. Plus, who knows, maybe everyone in attendance will get lucky, and the second episode will feature the horror episode, or, perhaps, it will be the installment that will feature the introduction of James T. Kirk’s (Paul Wesley) young son, David Marcus.

Regardless, socializing with likeminded fans from the Star Trek community is always a good time. So, do you plan to attend the Strange New Worlds fan screening at San Diego Comic-Con 2026? Which story are you hoping episode 2 will tell? Share your choices with us on the Redshirts Always Die Facebook and X pages.

Live long and prosper, Trekkies!
