Welcome back, fellow Scouts! In this underwater adventure, JR, Roo, and Sprocket explore an undersea world and meet a glowray, only to discover that their nemesis Shadowtrix wants the powerful glow for her own! It's up to the team to get it back, so let's dive into this episode of Star Trek: Scouts and join in on the action.
As the episode opens, the Scouts observe a glowray as it displays its speed, and Roo tells the others that the creature is the fastest in the galaxy! Even as she speaks, though, the ray loses its glow, and Sprocket sees that their feline foe, Shadowtrix, has stolen the glow for her own use. The Scouts spring into action!
Shadowtrix appears at the mouth of an underwater cave to mock JR, Roo, and Sprocket before vanishing inside it.
Roo gives chase but soon realizes how dark the cave is! She darts back, and then Sprocket sheds some light on the situation with his bionic arm flashlight.
As Sprocket's light fills the cavern, the Scouts see Shadowtrix loading the stolen glow onto her ship to make it the fastest vehicle around! She zips away, leaving the Scouts to wonder how they'll catch up with her.
Fortunately, the other glowrays want to help and give the Scouts a ride. Sprocket gets a little too enthusiastic, and his glowray takes off with him at high speed — and backwards!
The Scouts take off after Shadowtrix, who leads them into a trench full of sea monsters! Some tentacles send them reeling. Shadowtrix think she has the last laugh, until Sprocket points out that she and her ship are in the path of a giant clam! It snaps shut, trapping the villain!
Roo discovers the clam is a species of laughing clam, so she tickles it with a feather to make it open. Sprocket retrieves the glow speed, and the other glowray band together to chase Shadowtrix away. The glowray gets its speed back, and that's mission accomplished! Great job, Scouts!
