Star Trek: Starfleet Academy is in a strange place as the second season already wrapped filming, but the show has already been canceled. Thus, the future for its characters is up in the air depending on where the Trek franchise goes. Hopefully, the showrunners decide to continue developing the 32nd-century era rather than going back to the past, as there’s so much potential in this far-future setting.
