2. Darem Reymi

Even more so than Genesis Lythe and her people, we need more of a spotlight on the Khionian cadet, Darem Reymi. We got an episode involving Darem returning to his home for a wedding, but fans were a bit gypped by everyone being in human form. Granted, a fully aquatic setting would be tricky for special effects work but still be doable.
Darem himself was a compelling character thanks to the work of George Hawkins. The character could have been simply a one-note arrogant jerk, an entitled “prince” of his homeworld who has to learn humility at the Academy. However, Hawkins imbued Darem with heart and pathos, an alien who was caught between his family’s duties (such as the arranged marriage) and paving his own way in Starfleet.
The character is a favorite, and showing his race in their natural habitat would truly expand the Trek universe like never before.
