Four members of SNW’s Starfleet will be on hand in Mexico City for CCXP.

Fans of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, set your phasers to stun because members of the popular streaming series are headed to Mexico City to represent the Federation.

Yes, Ethan Peck (Mr. Spock), Paul Wesley (James T. Kirk), Celia Rose Gooding (Nyota Uhura), and Rebecca Romijn (Number One) will all be on hand for this year’s Comic Con Experience (CCXP). The “unmissable” SNW panel will take place on Saturday, April 25, on the Banamex Center’s premiere Thunder Stage by Cinemex. Watch the full announcement video below, courtesy of Paramount Plus.

While the release didn’t specify, I think it’s clear that the Strange New Worlds’ cast members will have some new footage to share of SNW season 4. Hopefully, it’s, at the very least, a teaser trailer since all fans have seen so far is the controversial Muppet episode sneak peek from San Diego Comic-Con and the First-Look clip from New York Comic Con.

Strange New Worlds season 4 will include 10 episodes, unlike the fifth and final season’s truncated allotment of only six. And while I’m a lifelong Trekkie, I truly hope season 4 returns the streaming series to the glory established in the show’s first two seasons. I wasn’t quite as disappointed in season 3 as some Star Trek fans, but there’s still a lot of room for improvement.

I, for one, would love to see John de Lancie return in person, rather than just hear him voice Trelane’s father as he did in SNW’s season 3 episode “Wedding Bell Blues.” I may be setting my sights too high, but I would love the crew of Captain Christopher Pike’s USS Enterprise to fully encounter Q (de Lancie) before the streaming saga comes to a close.
