Actress Eve Brenner turned 100 on September 24, which makes her the oldest living Star Trek performer. Brenner guest starred in one episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation and one episode of Star Trek: Voyager, and her credits date back to the 1950s.

Brenner portrayed Inad, the white-haired, telepathic Ullian historian, in the season 5 TNG episode “Violations,” which debuted in 1992. Brenner then later returned to the soundstages at Paramount Pictures to guest star as Korenna Mirell/Jora Mirell in the 1996 Voyager episode, “Remember,” which premiered during that show’s third season. Mirell was a Enaran in love with a Regressive, much to the disapproval of her father.

According to Brenner’s biography on the Interact Theatre Company website, the prolific actress started her career on stage when she was 16 years old at the Provincetown Playhouse in New York City. Brenner would go on to compile a resume boasting over 80 film and television credits, which span decades, according to the Internet Movie Database. Brenner even appeared in the 1953 episode of Adventures of Superman titled "A Ghost for Scotland Yard."

Other noteworthy credits from Brenner's career include The Great Mouse Detective, The Twilight Zone (the mid-late '80s reboot), Quantum Leap, Murder in the First, Early Edition, The Visitor, Good vs. Evil, The X-Files, ER, Dead Like Me, The Mentalist, Walk of Shame, Modern Family, and Grey’s Anatomy.

Brenner's credits stop in 2019, which is the year she appeared in The Rookie, Magnum, P.I., South of Heaven: Little Sister, and six episodes of Baskets. Fans who appreciate Star Trek’s connectivity with other projects will also find it interesting that Murder in the First, a 1995 legal/prison drama, featured not just Brenner, but also such past and future Star Trek guest stars as Brad Dourif, Mia Kirshner, Christian Slater, Time Winters, Stefan Gierasch, and Ben Slack.

Returning to Brenner’s biography, it states: "Eve is also a licensed speech pathologist, voice and dialect coach, and a fluent speaker of Yiddish."

A fair number of talents are right behind Brenner for the title of oldest living Star Trek actor. David Frankham, who guest starred as Larry Marvick in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode “Is There in Truth No Beauty?” turned 99 in February. Laurence Luckinbill, who portrayed Sybok in Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, will celebrate his 91st birthday in November, and other familiar names closing in on 90 include Diana Muldaur (87), George Takei (88), Walter Koenig (89), Patrick Stewart (85), and, of course, William Shatner turned 94 back in March.
