Saldana and McConaughey is can’t-miss casting

What I love about this casting is that Saldana has already proven her ability to deliver believable big-screen romances over the years. And, of course, Trekkies know all too well how the Kelvin timeline Star Trek films whipped up some never-before-seen passion between Saldana’s Lt. Uhura and Zachary Quinto’s Mr. Spock.

I think pairing Saldana and McConaughey is the can’t-miss casting of 2025, and I only hope the screenplay for Positano is solid enough to give the duo enough exquisite dialogue to show off their Oscar-winning acting talents. I mean, what's the point of throwing these two together on a beach if they don't have the right sand to build the best sandcastle ever?

At the time of this writing, a release date hasn’t been assigned to the Netflix and Working Title project, but expect sparks to fly on streaming when Saldana and McConaughey finally have the opportunity to collaborate on a romantic movie.
