Stand Up For Your Values

Picard was never one to back down when his values were on the line. Standing up for what you believe in is important, it helps not only define who you are, but who those that follow you are.

If a leader is willing to bend his own values when put under pressure what do you think is going to happen to those he leads? If the leader doesn’t have the strength to make a stand then those that follow him will have little chance of doing it themselves.

Picard’s values were his compass and by holding fast to them he was able to navigate any situation.

You never had to guess what Picard stood for, he told you.
