Nacelle's Build-a-Bridge expands with a turbolift
The excitement didn't stop at the Dr. McCoy action figure and biobed reveal because Nacelle also showcased their newest offering for their upcoming Build-a-Bridge playset: a turbo lift!
The USS Enterprise bridge is a special set for Star Trek's 60th anniversary and features 12 different bridge stations you can pair with action figures, such as Mr. Spock and his science station, or Captain Kirk and his chair. Each piece features lights and sounds from the Enterprise, which makes this set a unique and incredibly fun addition to any collector's space.
The turbolift is so detailed that fans of The Original Series will recognize it instantly! The four dedication plaques included read exactly as they do on the series, and a diagram of the Enterprise stands out in bright colors opposite them — no doubt installed by Scotty after reviewing the latest technical design journal!
The Dr. McCoy action figure and these new accessories are perfect for fans who will undoubtedly long for them like Homer Simpson drools over donuts, even with a limited collectibles budget. I think most of us are going to be saving for Wave 3, which will feature the entire crew from The Original Series!
