Mount couldn't find the words in first reaction to SNW wrapping

Anson Mount originally posted a hushed and heartfelt behind-the-scenes video of himself walking through the sets of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds for the final time. It was clear from the Instagram post that Mount was emotional over the conclusion of his time serving as Captain Christopher Pike. And I have a feeling that seasons 4 and 5 of SNW will be a return to form for the franchise based off all the heart being shown in these farewells to the show.

Personally, while I was disappointed with some Strange New Worlds episodes from season 3, I’m excited to watch the show rebound back into season 1 and season 2 form. For instance, many Trekkies had a problem with the vastly underrated "Wedding Bell Blues" episode.

However, having Trelane return along with our beloved John de Lancie playing his father, it was must-see streaming TV, with lasting effects on the Star Trek canon where Q is concerned. If that's what fans consider a low point for the series, then I am expecting a massive comeback from Strange New Worlds in the final two seasons.

So, are you as excited as I am to see seasons 4 and 5 unfold knowing that Strange New Worlds has officially wrapped filming? Or are you worried that the show will lean into too many filler episodes like the upcoming puppets adventure? Rather than Muppets, I'm going to keep preaching Mirror Universe, and all I can do now is hope since the last two seasons are already mapped out — and in the can.
